Project Description


A portion of the first floor and cellar of an apartment building at 70 W 95th Street was renovated for the Manhattan Children’s Center. The renovation included a reconfiguration of a convenience stair, a new elevator, a partial removal of existing concrete walls, the addition of operable partitions at the cellar and first floor, a relocation of the drop in the cellar slab, support for a new platform lift, and a removal and replacement of portions of the cellar slab for new plumbing lines.
